Nutron credits

How credits are calculated, allocated, and spent.

Last updated 3 months ago

TLDR:

  • Credits are used to allocate model training compute

  • New users get a fixed amount of free credits

  • 1 credit β‰ˆ 6 minutes of training data

  • Details about how credits are calculated and allocated are subject to change while Nutron is in development

Overview

In Nutron, credits are used for the purpose of allocating compute time for model training. They can be used instead of β€” or in addition to β€” traditional payment methods.

While Nutron is in development, credits are the only accepted payment method for compute. For more information, please feel free to get in touch with us.

Credit allocation & cost

By default, new users are given free credits to use in their workspace. The total amount can be found at all times in the navigation sidebar.

Multi-user workspaces

In the case you have multiple users sharing a workspace, the credits are shared between all users.

Currently inviting other users to your workspace is disabled. If you would like to try out Nutron with your team, please let us know.

Credit cost

Each credit is equal to approximately 6 minutes of training data. For example:

  • 60 minutes of training data = 10 credits

  • 59 minutes of training data = 9.83 credits

Using credits

Training runs

When starting a new training run, your credit balance will be applied by default.

The estimation shown will be the highest possible for your run configuration. You will never be charged more than this. If your run ends up using fewer resources, you will be charged fewer credits.

If a run is estimated to use more credits than you have available, you will not be able to start that run.
